How To Merge Contacts with Multiple Email Addresses
How To Merge Contacts with Multiple Email Addresses I recently got a question about merging Contacts and keeping multiple email addresses. Its easy to do heres how: 1. From the List Panel, (1) click on the two (or more) Contacts you want to merge, then (2) click the merge icon: 2. On the next page youll see things you can merge. Notice some things dont have multiple discrepencies so there is nothing to choose/merge. In other words, there is only one rank: 5 stars. There is only one URL. There is only one title. You arent merging these. BUT, you do want to merge (and keep) both email addresses) 3. The email addresses that has a selected Radio Button is the main email address. To keep the others simply click the drop down and choose the type of email. I chose Personal. Note you can choose OTHER and create a new email type. When you save the form youll keep all of the email addresses that dont say Choose an Email Type (I need to fix the type-o there, dont I ) Pretty cool, huh? A phone interview is often lengthier and requires more in-depth answers from the candidate. A phone screen is often 15-20 minutes long and allows the recruiter to share more details about the role. Failure is an option. It has to be. - The Chief Happiness Officer Blog Planetary Resources is a new company whose mission is to mine asteroid and comets. No, really. It may sound like science fiction and they wont be bringing valuable materials back to Earth tomorrow, but theyre apparently serious about it and have the backing of people like Ross Perot, Jr., Larry Page, Peter Diamondis and many others. As a huge space buff this really speaks to me and heres one of my favorite things about the venture, from the companys chief scientist, Chris Lewicki: One important thing to understand about our company, were not a government program. For NASA and other civilian agencies, failure is not an option. But for us its the exact opposite: failure is an option. It has to be, just think of where we might be as a species or a nation if we only took on projects where success was a virtual certainty. Failure is an option. It has to be. Thats a great mission statement right there. Workplaces that shun mistakes make their employees unhappy. The reason why is simple: On the one hand they want their people to be innovative, creative and productive on the other hand mistakes are punished severely. How the heck are employees supposed to unite those two demands? As the Mythbusters say: Failure is always an option. And as we say: You should celebrate mistakes at work, not hide them.
